As April nears its end, Eufaula Memorial Library looks back on a lively and creative month, filled with hands-on activities and opportunities for the community. Patrons enjoyed crafting moonshaped CD mosaics, painting pots for plants, and a Lorax storytime. But the fun is not over yet! Join us on Friday, April 24 at p.m. for a special movie screening, craft activity, and popcorn.
Looking ahead to May, we’re excited to kick off the library’s Summer Reading Program (SRP), which is an annual tradition that encourages readers of all ages to explore new stories and enjoy a season full of learning and fun. This year’s SRP theme is “Unearth Your Story,” which is all about dinosaurs! Program details will be announced soon, so be sure to stay tuned.
In the coming weeks, the library will also begin expanding outreach efforts within the community. We’re excited to connect with local businesses and organizations as we continue working together to encourage literacy, creativity, and lifelong learning in Eufaula. This support helps strengthen the programs and opportunities we’re able to offer, and we look forward to growing those connections in the months ahead.
The library will be closing at noon on May 1 for staff training. We encourage visitors to plan accordingly.
