What started as a simple idea, one rooted in love, understanding, and a desire to make every child feel seen, is now turning into something truly special.

At Rae of Sunshine Childcare, hearts have come together to create more than just an event. They’re creating a space where laughter is shared freely, differences are embraced, and every child is welcomed exactly as they are.

“We want this day to be a day where all sort of inclusion is provided, where the children have a good time, and where they leave feeling so loved,” shared Desirae Evans Parish. And with every thoughtful detail, that vision is coming to life.

On April 18, from 1 p.m.–3 p.m., families will gather for a day filled with joy—from the excitement of a bounce house and the sweetness of an ice cream cart, to hands-on sensory exploration activities, a petting zoo, and treats sure to bring smiles all around.

Butbeyondthefun,this day is about something deeper. It’s about creating a place where children feel safe to be themselves, where families feel supported, and where a community grows stronger through kindness and understanding.
