The Oktaha Lady Tigers made history twice this season after battling through 16 innings in a 1-0 win over Pocola, tying for the third-longest game in state fast-pitch history. Oktaha achieved their dream Saturday at Devon Park, ending Howe’s improb-able run with a 2-1 victory in the Class 2A state championship game. The win marked Oktaha’s first state title since 2006.
