several underclassmen return for the 2026 season. Freshman Izzy Ruiter made an impact this season in the 100-meter hurdles and the 200-meter hurdles. Senior Tyler Orman was the only Wildcat to make the state tournament this season in the long jump.

In basketball, look for Shyanne Madewell to continue to be a dominant force along with Logan Dowdy and others. On the boys’ team it will be Wes Brown, Rowan Chapman, Cooper Cutbirth and Hudson Pollard returning for the 2025-26 season.

The Wildcats’ football team will depend on a large number of underclassmen but on a different note quarterback Cole Rolland returns to the lineup. Traegan Duvall, Cale Thompson, Elijah Mohammad, Jayden Ellen, and Bryce Marshall are just some athletes that will make an impact for the Wildcats.

Mason Rainbolt, Dalton Carter and Kross Staufher will lead the Wildcats in baseball while Aurora Madewell, Layna Vandiver, Sydnie West and Kora Hall will take the leading role in the softball programs.

Logan Dowdy will return for the Lady Wildcat cross-country team.
