Sallie (Cummings) Deere, 50, born on May 4,1974 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Susie Higgins and stepdaughter of Jonas Higgins. She passed from this life on Monday, April 28, 2025, at her home surrounded by family.
Sallie was a Eufaula High School graduate. Sallie served as a member and secretary for West Eufaula Indian Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time watching her grandkids play sports and anything else they wanted to do.
Sallie married her high school sweetheart Charles Deere on June 17,1996 in Eufaula, May 4, 1974 – April 28, 2025

She is survived by her husband Charles Deere of the home, one daughter Ashley Jones of Vian, Okla. Stepdaughter Shalah Wytch and husband Ken’yon Wytch of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. Her brother James Higgins and nephew Reuben Higgins. Brother David Cummings. Grandchildren: Lexi Deere, Arron Hamlin, Jasley Jones, Nakariee Murrell, Ky’Ricc Murrell, and Ke’Arah Wytch. Brothers Joe, Jess, and Brian Dreadfulwater. Her special mom Pauline (Woodsie) Hammons. Her special sister Danna Sue Pruett Jones. And many other friends, family, and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents Martha Belcher and Washington (David) Cummings Sr., her uncle Thomas Cummings, and her uncle Loyd Cummings Sr.
