SEMINOLE — Bryan A Lynn, Eufaula, is among 16 area students to receive scholarships Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative (CVEC) inaugural Operation Round Up Scholarship Program, administered by the Operation Round Up Foundation Board. Through this membersupported program, $16,000 in scholarships have been awarded to 16 outstanding high school seniors from across the CVEC service territory.
The Operation Round Up Scholarship was established to provide financial assistance for qualified individuals who seek a college, university, or technical school education. The scholarship is available to an entering college freshman or trade school student who is a member or is a spouse, dependent of a member, or child whose guardian is a member of the Cooperative and a participant in Operation Round Up.
Applicants must be high school seniors attending a school located within the Cooperative’s service area.
Each student received a $1,000 scholarship to assist with their continuing education.
