Eufaula Area Arts is thrilled to announce the return of Eufaula Summer Arts 2025, set to take place June 2–12 at Eufaula Elementary.
This exciting program is offered during Beacon summer activities and is open to all students entering 1st through 8th grades.
Young artists will have the rare opportunity to learn directly from renowned Teaching Artists, including Oklahoma Arts Council educational specialists Patricia Morgan and Demetrius Gibson, and skilled sewing instructor Darci Lenker. Students will dive into the worlds of painting, dance-theater-storytelling, and embroidery, developing creativity and confidence in a nurturing environment.
Private class sessions will start at 9 a.m. and end at noon or 1 p.m., depending on the student’s grade level. In addition, students attending the Beacon program will be able to participate in afternoon Teaching Artist sessions. Beacon students interested in these arts classes are encouraged to request placement as soon as possible.
To ensure access for all, Hardship Scholarships are available.
Standard private enrollment is $60 per week, and free lunches are provided.
Hardship Scholarships aim to remove financial barriers and make this enriching experience available to as many children as possible.
Applications can be picked up now at the Eufaula Chamber of Commerce, located at 301 North Main or text / email.
Enrollment is limited, so early registration is encouraged!
Onsite coordination is led by Jim and Selina Dornan, whose dedication to student growth and creative exploration continues to inspire our community year after year.
