By AMANDA GRANTHAM BRANCH MANAGER

The school year is ending, and we have many programs and activities to keep your kids busy this summer!

Starting May 19, patrons of all ages can register for Beanstack, eols.beanstack.org, the platform we use to record how many minutes you read. We will hand out prizes for each 100 minutes read beginning May 27. You can claim your prize at the circulation desk at Eufaula Memorial Library. We will also put your name in a drawing for the grand prize. The drawing will be on the last day of July.

On Monday, May 19, the adult craft is decoupaging letters. This program is at 5:15 p.m. You must register for this event by May 5 at eols.org/events.

Thursday, May 15, at 2:00 p.m. book club for adults meets to discuss the book All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whiteaker. You can pick up a copy at the front desk. It is also available on the Hoopla and Libby apps. Don’t have a chance to read the book? You are still invited to come for a good discussion, a light snack, and get a copy of the next book.

Want to capture your child’s milestone of graduation? Eufaula Memorial Library is having a “Moving on Up” picture backdrop on Friday, May 17, from 3-4:45 p.m. and Saturday, May 18, from 8:45-11:45 a.m. Come take your graduation or moving on up photos at the library! Each individual will receive one free printed photo. More prints can be purchased for $1 each.

On Tuesday, May 20 we will have a Summer Reading kick-off party from 4 p.m.- 6 p.m.. Bring the whole family to watch a movie, eat snacks, and sign up for our Summer Reading Challenge. Each person who registers for the challenge will get their name in a drawing for a lake bag full of goodies.

On Thursday, May 22, we will have a computer basics class from 5-7 p.m. A certified teacher from Kiamichi Technology Center will teach the class. The class is free and Chromebooks will be provided.

The Friends of Eufaula Memorial Library (FEML) are looking for new members to join and continue to help build the library. The next meeting is Friday, May 16, at 1:00 pm. Michelle Marston from the OSU extension office will present on how OHCE helps the communities in McIntosh County. Contact President Gail Rose at member. FEML@gmail.com to join.

Please visit and follow us on Facebook or visit our website at eols.org/ eufaula for other events and activities.
