Spring is in the air and with the precinct meetings and county elections behind us, Mc-Intosh GOP members are busy planning ahead for an exciting year of events.

First up is our monthly meeting April 24 at the Eufaula VFW, which begins at 6:30 p.m. We will have Sherrie Foister Conley as our featured speaker. Many of you may know her as a former Oklahoma State Representative, but Mrs. Conley has turned her focus to exposing sexual assault in our own Oklahoma’s public education system. Sherrie is passionate about protecting children and is traveling the state to educate the public on how they can protect their children from the predators all around us.

We will then be attending the OKGOP State Convention on May 3 by bringing the will of the people of Mc-Intosh County to the Oklahoma state stage to allow our voice to be heard at the state level.

We have lots of prominent guests who will be speaking over the coming months – guests such as Representative Tom Gann, Mayor Daniel Tarkington, and the Honorable Jake Merrick, just to name a few.

We hope you will join us at one of our meetings and see why the McIntosh County GOP is so important to our community!
