MUSKOGEE – A 21-yearold man identified as Ashton Wright of Eufaula has died from severe injuries suffered Monday evening, March 31, according to police.

As of Friday, April 4, investigators had not disclosed the cause of the injuries nor the exact cause of death.

Wright was discovered in the street at around 7:40 p.m. in the area of East Okmulgee and Frankfort avenues.

Police said he was taken to a hospital, where he died.

“This incident is being actively investigated,” a police spokesman said.
