Trusting the Jesus’ way is always the best way!

Have you ever witnessed something that seemed to defy explanation? If so, that’s often called a miracle! In Biblical terms a miracle is an unexpected outpouring of power from God that defies ordinary explanation, produces wonder and constitutes a sign.

The Bible is chock full of miracles. These incredible signs and wonders demonstrate God’s involvement in humans’ lives. The purpose of these miraculous signs is always to advance God’s kingdom and bring faith to those who witness it.

These signs give us a window into how God is at work in the world through Jesus, and what it means for our faith and salvation. These miracles are not just extraordinary events; they are demonstrations of unlimited, divine power, revealing Jesus as the Messiah and Son of God.

Jesus, the son of God, was on the greatest mission in the history of mankind. Yet he and his disciples took time to attend a wedding celebration in the village of Cana in Galilee. The wine supply ran out during the festivities, so Jesus’ mother told Him, “They have no more wine.” Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.” But His mother told the servants, “Do whatever He tells you.” (John 2: 3-5) Maybe Mary’s five words are words you need to hear today. Whatever you might be facing today or whatever baggage you’re dragging around, if you’re looking for guidance and wisdom, then heed these words. If you’re wondering what to do, Christ isn’t going to tell you something that contradicts scripture. He’s given you examples from His Word. Whatever is going to happen tomorrow or in the future begins with your faith and obedience today.

Jesus began his first miracle by using what was at hand. “Standing nearby were six stone water jars, used for Jewish ceremonial washing. Each could hold twenty to thirty gallons. Jesus told the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water.’ When the jars had been filled, He said, ‘Now dip some out, and take it to the master of the banquet.’ So, the servants followed His instructions.” (John 2:6-8) These jars would have each stored 20 to 30 gallons of water to be used for cleansing prior to worship at the temple. The very first sign for the world to know about Jesus symbolically transformed the old ritual water of Judaism into the new wine of Christianity. It revealed that the Old Covenant of the law cleansed a person’s outside but was not sufficient to cleanse the inner man. However, the New Covenant under Christ Jesus doesn’t just wash the outside of your body. When you become a saved and baptized believer who trusts wholeheartedly in Christ for your salvation, you’ll be cleansed from the inside out.
