Flag retirement ceremony March 22

VFW Auxiliary Post 8798 will host a flag retirement ceremony at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22 at the VFW Post SH 9 east.

“We will dispose of the old flags appropriately,” said a spokesperson. “You may bring your old, worn and tattered flags any time to the VFW Post.”

The Auxiliary exchanged 30 new flags during the last three exchange events.

Future dates for flag exchange will be announced later.
