The McIntosh County Democratic Party will hold their monthly meeting on March 11 at 6:30 p.m. in Checotah at the Jim Lucas Public Library, 626 W. Gentry Ave.
Two candidates will be there, Nathan Brewer for Oklahoma Senate District 8, and Ginger Knight for ICTC Board.
Brewer is running for Senate District 8 in the upcoming Special Election on May 13. He advocates for the passage of “Knight’s Law,” introduced in 2023. Additionally, Brewer aims to improve rural access to healthcare services, including mental health care. He will be answering questions and discussing his plans to help serve our community.
Ginger Knight is running for the ICTC Election on April 1.
Ginger believes in collaboration, progress, and community involvement to enhance the educational experience for every student. Ginger will also be answering questions and discussing her plans to help serve our community.
We will also be discussing precinct and county party elections.
