Jeff Ramsey brings a lifetime of service, dedication, and leadership to his candidacy for Oklahoma’s State Senate District 8. With extensive experience in law enforcement, military service, and community engagement, Jeff offers a steadfast commitment to addressing the needs of Oklahomans. The primary election will be held on March 4, and Jeff humbly asks for your support as the Republican candidate.

Background and Early Life

• Born in Kansas, Jeff moved to Oklahoma at an early age, where he developed a deep connection to the state.

• At 11, his family relocated to Oregon, where he graduated high school.

• At just 17, Jeff enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps while still in high school. Upon graduation, he entered boot camp, marking the beginning of his lifelong commitment to public service.

Military Service

• Jeff served his country honorably as a U.S. Marine, stationed at the U.S. Embassy in Bogotá, Colombia.

• His military experience instilled in him discipline, leadership, and a strong sense of duty.

Law Enforcement Career

• After his military service, Jeff returned to Oklahoma, joining the Warr Acres Police Department before spending 28 distinguished years with the Oklahoma City Police Department.

• During his tenure, Jeff earned several prestigious awards, including: – Officer of the Year – Medal of Valor for his heroic response as a first responder to the Oklahoma City bombing.

– Medal of Honor for saving a fellow officer’s life during a shootout with an armed robbery suspect.

– Bill Halsey Award for Bravery, presented by General Tommy Franks.

• After retiring, Jeff served as an Oklahoma City Marshal for 13 years, further demonstrating his dedication to public safety.

• Later, he worked as a school resource officer in Okemah, Oklahoma, for five years, focusing on school security and student safety.

Community and Family

• Since marrying into the Randolph family of Paden, Oklahoma, in 2016, Jeff has proudly called Okfuskee County home.

• His passion for law enforcement and school security reflects his deep care for families and future generations.

Platform and Priorities

Jeff Ramsey’s campaign is rooted in addressing key issues facing Oklahoma:

• School Security: Leveraging his extensive law enforcement experience to ensure the safety of Oklahoma’s students and schools.

• Border Security: Advocating for strong policies to address the growing border crisis and its impact on local communities.

• Support for Key Groups: Committed to honoring and supporting seniors, veterans, law enforcement, and fire personnel.

• Economic Development: Promoting Oklahoma’s vital oil, gas, and agriculture industries to create jobs and strengthen the state’s economy.

A Non-Career Politician

Jeff Ramsey is not a career politician but a dedicated public servant who understands the challenges faced by Oklahomans. His extensive experience and unwavering commitment to service make him the ideal candidate to represent District 8.

Jeff Ramsey respectfully requests your vote on March 4, to bring principled leadership and a fresh perspective to the Oklahoma Senate. Together, we can build a safer, stronger future for our communities.
