Library News
By AMANDA GRANTHAM BRANCH MANAGER,

The holidays are approaching, and we are happy to be back to our regular hours Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon. We have all our regular programs as well.

Every Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. we offer a beginner yoga class taught by Shanna. If you are interested in learning the basics of yoga or if you are a pro, join us in building your strength and flexibility.

Every Wednesday and Friday at 9:30 a.m. we have a class called SAIL.

SAIL is a fitness program for older adults, which can be done sitting or standing. Performing exercise that improves strength, balance, and fitness is critical for staying active and reducing the risk or falls.

The SAIL program was designed with these principals in mind. Each class includes warm-up, stretching, cardio, balance, and strengthening exercises, as well as a cool down period.

A registration packet can be picked up at Eufaula Memorial Library.

Saturday, Nov. 23 at 3 p.m., we are hosting a downtown tour of Eufaula with the help of our local business owners. Come take a walk downtown and learn about the history of the buildings in our historic downtown.

Eufaula Memorial Library will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29 for the Thanksgiving holiday. We wish everyone a safe holiday and will be open Saturday, Nov. 30 from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
