Christ’s 40 Acres brings Round Robin Revival to LECC

Four consecutive revival evenings—featuring different ministers and musicians each night—begin Sunday, September 8, at Lake Eufaula Christian Church, 415987 Highway 9, Eufaula. The public is invited to enjoy the old-fashioned spiritual event arranged by the Kiamichi Mountain Christian Mission at Christ’s 40 Acres, a ministry facility located near Honobia, Oklahoma, in the heart of the Choctaw Nation.

“Each evening, though different, will be family-friendly and glorify the Lord,” said LECC Minister Jeremy Little. “ We will have snacks and drinks each evening prior to the service. We would love for the community to come out to worship with us and hear some incredible music and dynamic preaching.”

All services begin at 7 p.m., starting Sunday with Sam Ray delivering an uplifting message from the pulpit and also singing with the group he founded, The Texans. Their Cassville, Missouri, International Ministries, which raises funds for missionaries around the world, has entertained thousands for many years with gospel music at their Branson, Missouri, theater.

On Monday evening, John Lovett from Olathe Christian Church in Olathe, Kansas will deliver the word. Joining him will be Grammy and Dove Award winning musician Jaydee Miller. Jaydee has written music for Kenny Rogers, Bette Midler, Roger Miller, and toured several years with Bill and Gloria Gaither. If you’ve ever heard the tv commercial jingle that says, “Nationwide is on your side,” then you’ve heard just one of the Jaydee’s many jingles written for corporations all over the country.

In the pulpit on Tuesday evening will be Jason Sparks, who works for the Hope Restored Ministry, a marriage and pregnancy resource center at Christ’s 40 Acres. He and his family will also be providing the music that evening.

Finally, on Wednesday September 11, the Round Robin Revival will conclude with Preacher Mike Baker, from Antioch Christian Church in Olney, Illinois. He will be joined by the Dave Melton Family from Columbus, Indiana, singing the melodies that have made them an LECC favorite.

“The Kiamichi Mountain Christian Mission is partnering with LECC for the third straight year to present this amazing revival for our community,” said Jeremy Little, LECC minister. “We are pleased that the Round Robin expands Christ’s 40 Acres mission of sharing the Gospel with others and see them come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ our Savior,”
