Shirley Ann Csendes

Shirley Ann Csendes, 74, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024, at the St. Francis Hospital of Muskogee.

Shirley was born on Feb. 22, 1950, in Tyler, Texas, the daughter of Roddle and Opal Maye (Thorton) Ross.

She graduated from Central High School in Marlow, Oklahoma.

On Feb. 20, 1971, Shirley married Bela Feb. 22, 1950 – July 14, 2024

Denes Csendes in Greenville, Texas.

Survivors include: her sister, Dorothy Worrell, nephew Wesley Worrell and wife Melisa of West Texas, niece Nikki Worrell, grandniece Madison Worrell of West Texas and Adrianna Kimbrell of Whitney, Texas and great nephews William, Brian and Kyle all of West Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Bela.

A funeral service was held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at the Kelley Memorial Chapel with Reverend Jeremy Little officiating.

Burial was at 1:30 p.m., at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of Hunn Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory.
