To the Editor: Some years back an independent study confirmed what most of us already knew: FOX News viewers were the least informed/knowledgeable people in America, if not the world. I had a relative or two who disagreed with that before they started spouting idiocy. I’m sure that people whose sole source of news is social media have made a small dent in that but I’m also sure FNC viewers still wear the stupid crown.

Apparently, some fancy themselves smart enough to be historians. But here’s a little more recent history to chew on. Benjamin Nut-n-yahoo is prolonging this war to escape prison. Just like his buddy the mistress of Mar-a-Lago. He’d probably be in prison now if Hamas hadn’t gifted him with a reason to go to war. The Israeli people were amassing in the streets by the millions demanding his removal from office. But fascist wannabe dictator that he is, war is his best friend.

His government has told refugees to flee to the south. Then he orders that region to be bombed. Flee the other way, he says. Then they bomb the other way. Every time Israeli soldiers massacre innocent civilians, he says they’ll “look into it.” But nothing gets done. These are the actions of a war criminal. Period. When they don’t get their way with the U.S. he whines like a baby and orders his intelligence networks to spy on us. As the saying goes, with friends like this…

The Hungarian dictator, Viktor Orban, Putin’s puppet and a hero of the MAGAt crowd, has heaped praise after praise on Nut-n-yahoo. Because they’re cut from the same cloth. Orban knows a fellow thug/dictator when he sees one. And it’s no sign of genius by equating a country’s populace with their dictatorial authoritarian leader. It’s OK to support the citizens while criticizing their wannabe king.

This is NOT our parent’s or grandparent’s Israel. The Israeli people need to clean house and send the whole boatload of them to prison for life. And if American fascists don’t have the smarts to stop supporting fascism here and abroad, try TikTok. I hear their accuracy rate in reporting news is higher than FOX.

But, hell, whose isn’t?
