Last week the OKGOP State Committee body met for two separate State Committee Meetings, one of which was presented a resolution to remove our Chairman.

We tabled it to be brought forth at a future time.

With all that said, McIntosh County GOP members are ready for a summer break from these soaring temps, so we are suspending all general county meetings until October.

We will still be involved with campaigns, workshops, event planning and other impactful activities which we will keep you apprised of via our usual modes of communication — Facebook, email, text, and newspaper.

If we can get participation from both candidates, we will be happy to host a debate for the McIntosh County Commissioner District 2 race in August.
