State Veterans Affairs hosts ‘Boots to Suits’ Entrepreneurial Boot Camp for Veterans

Owasso – The Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs (ODVA) is proud to announce the ‘Boots to Suits’ entrepreneurial boot camp, a transformative two-day event designed for veterans who are either starting or looking to grow their own business.

This intensive boot camp will take place on July 9-10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, at the Eagle Ops Foundation, located at 302 E. 5th Ave. Unit D, Owasso.

‘Boots to Suits’ offers veterans the unique opportunity to gain essential business knowledge and skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Participants will benefit from expert-led sessions covering a range of critical topics, including business planning, marketing strategies, financial management, and navigating the complexities of entrepreneurship.

This boot camp is crafted to empower veterans with the tools and confidence needed to succeed in their business ventures.

• Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

• Location: Eagle Ops Foundation, 302 E. 5th Ave. Unit D, Owasso

“This event is more than just a workshop— it’s an opportunity for our veteran community to leverage their skills and experiences into successful business endeavors,” said Daron Hoggatt, ODVA’s Business Management Program Administrator. “We’re committed to providing the support and resources necessary to help veterans thrive in their entrepreneurial journeys.”

The Eagle Ops Foundation, a veteran-focused organization dedicated to reconnecting veterans to life and community, will serve as the venue for this impactful event. Their mission aligns perfectly with the goals of ‘Boots to Suits,’ making them an ideal partner for this initiative.

Veterans interested in participating are encouraged to register early as space is limited.
