Brian Bingman has spent his entire business career, over 40 years, in the oil and gas industry. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a BBA in Petroleum and Land Management in 1976, Brian has served in numerous political roles. His roles as the mayor of the town of Sapulpa (1992-2004), representative for the Oklahoma State House of Representatives (2004-2006), President Pro Tempore (2011-2016) as well as Senator (2006-2016) and former Assistant Majority Leader for the Oklahoma State Senate, and Secretary of State (2020-present) show his unwavering dedication to the people of Oklahoma. Brian has served as a petroleum landman for Continental Oil Company/ Conoco-Phillips in addition to his current role as vicepresident of land operations for Uplands Resources, Incorporated. For his decades of hard work, Brian has been endorsed by Governor Kevin Stitt.

What are the top three most pressing issues facing rural Oklahoma? How would you address these issues if elected?

1. The Biden Administration has been attacking the nation’s oil and gas companies, which creates expensive and unreliable utility grids in rural Oklahoma. If elected, I will keep our state’s energy industry safe by maintaining a strong and reliable utility grid while protecting consumer’s pocketbooks.
