The existing Eufaula Casino, at 806 Forest Ave., opened in 2004. It has more than 240 electronic games. It is expected to close, according to City Manager Jeb Jones, and the employees there will be transferred to the new facility.

There is also a Creek Nation Casino in Checotah at 830 N. Broadway, which opened in 1989. It has a 12,000 square foot gaming space and features 292 The other tribally owned casinos include: Creek Nation Casino Bristow, Creek Nation Casino Holdenville, Muscogee Creek Nation Casino in Muskogee, Creek Nation Casino Okemah, One Fire Casino and River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa.

According to the tribe’s website concerning the Eufaula Casino Project, “in March 2021 a feasibility study showed the market analysis for a new casino and hotel in Eufaula would provide both superior visibility and access in comparison to the existing casino and will boost current profits.”
