GOP News
By LYNELLE MEDLEY, CHAIRMAN MCINTOSH COUNTY GOP,

McIntosh GOP had an incredible meeting on May 16th with our newly elected OKGOP State Central Committee members Charity Linch (National CommitteeWoman) and Larry Murray (National CommitteeMan) and our OKGOP State Vice Chair, Wayne Hill decided to drop in for good measure. It was really heartwarming to see their caring for our county and I predict we will see more of them in the future.

We have lots of exciting events coming up — first up is a few of our members are sponsoring a “Pizza ‘n Politics” event with Paul Palmer. That will be held at the Eufaula VFW Post #8798 on May 28 and all are welcome to stop by and enjoy a slice of pizza and learn about who Paul is and how he plans to represent you when he gets to the State Capitol. You are welcome to ask him any questions and see for yourself if you are satisfied with his answers. We will have door prizes as well as a silent auction and of course, PIZZA! Please join us, doors will open at 6 p.m.

We have moved up our June meeting by a week to June 13 which will be held at the VFW at 6:30 p.m. We would like to thank the VFW for making it possible for McIntosh County GOP to serve our community. We take that responsibility very seriously and truly appreciate the VFW Post #8798 partnering with our vision for contributing to a better McIntosh County.

Also, don’t forget, we have notaries available in various precincts throughout the county, so if you need help with your absentee ballot, please don’t hesitate to text us at 918-617-6124. We would be remiss if we did not mention here to exercise your right to VOTE ON JUNE 18! If you have any questions or need additional information, the online voter portal which can be found at https://oklahoma. gov/elections/ ovp.html We have some volunteers who are working on a few different initiatives including more frequent updates and perhaps a video series on our Facebook page which you can find by searching for “McIntosh County GOP On Fire!” We would welcome you to our online community and look forward to you participating in the conversation. Hope to see you soon.
