EHS class of 2024 to graduate Friday

Valedictorian, Salutatorian named

Weather permitting, the graduation ceremony for the Eufaula High School Class of 2024 will take place at Paul Bell Stadium Friday, May 17 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Abigail Bell and Valerie Lewis have been named Valedictorian and Salutatorian for the Eufaula High School class of 2024.

Valedictorian

Abigail Bell is the daughter of Eddy and Gabriela Bell. She is the granddaughter of the late Ed and Iva Lee Bell of Moore, Oklahoma and Marcel and Vlasta Angelovic of Krnov, Czech Republic.

She has four siblings Eddy J.R., Freda, Gabrielle, and Thaddaeus.

In her free time, she enjoys singing, playing the piano, playing the clarinet, and spending time with her little brother.

She has been a part of the Pride of Eufaula for the past five years. Abi has been a part of the band leadership team for three years. She was one of the drum majors during the 2023 marching band season.

Abi will be attending Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri where she will study biology and chemistry as a pre-medicine student. Her ultimate goal is to become an emergency medicine physician.

Salutatorian

Valerie Lewis is the daughter of Jason and Zully Lewis. She is the granddaughter of Johnny and Kathy Lewis of Maud, and Nicasio and Lilian Perez of Lima, Peru.

Valerie is the president of NHS, Senior class officer, and Student council officer. She is also a NTHS, HOSA, and Eufaula academic team member.

After high school, Valerie plans to get a degree in biochemistry at the University of Oklahoma, graduate from medical school, and become a medical examiner.
