Kyle C. Buck

Kyle C. Buck, 88, of Eufaula, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at the St. Francis Hospital of Tulsa. Kyle was born on Aug. 13, 1935, in Stidham, Oklahoma to Duffy and Opal F. (Hallum) Buck. On May 26,1955, he married Bertha Bell Hunter. They were happily married for 66 years, before she preceded him in death on Nov. 25, 2021.

Kyle worked as a rancher. He was also a supervisor for the Oklahoma Highway Department for 25 years.

Kyle enjoyed coon hunting. He was a member of the Eufaula Church of Christ. Kyle was a great husband, dad and grandpa.

Survivors include: son, Kale Kerry Buck, of Eufaula; daughter, Aug. 13, 1935 – April 23, 2024

Cheryl Lynn Dalmont and husband Gene, of Scipio; sisters in-law: Nadine Buck, Nina Buck, and Trisha Buck, of Stidham; Brenda Buck, of Checotah; and Jan Landrum, of Braggs; brothers in-law, Bob Hunter, of Savanna and Jack Hunter, of Stidham; grandchildren: Amy Barkley and husband Jarrod, of Scipio and Cole Dalmont and wife Jaycie, of Broken Arrow; great grandchildren: Luke, Shane, and Kinley; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bertha Buck; and four brothers: Kenton, Keith, Kermit, and Kelton.

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Eufaula Church of Christ with Minister Charlie Bailey officiating.

Pallbearers were Gene Dalmont, Cole Dalmont, Jarrod Barkley, Alan Buck, Randal Buck, and Mark Harjo. Burial followed at Lenna Cemetery under the direction of Hunn Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory.
