GOP News
By LYNELLE MEDLEY, CHAIRMAN MCINTOSH COUNTY GOP,

McIntosh County GOP now has our first debate behind us and are looking forward to endorsing a candidate in each of the local races, please be watching for that on our Facebook page! The debate on Tuesday, April 23 at the fairgrounds was a huge success and we are looking forward to digging into campaign season now.

On April 29 at 6:30 p.m. one of our members is hosting a “Coffee & Cake with the Candidate” for HD15 candidate Paul Palmer at Hanna Community Center. If you support Paul Palmer or would like to know more about him, please come join us and have some cake and coffee while you’re there.

McIntosh County is taking almost 20 delegates to the State Convention in OKC on May 3-4 which is impressive because due to our size and other factors, we are only allocated 12 delegates. So, just a fancy way of recognizing how we are growing and I predict we will grow even more this coming year.

We recently had some great speakers at our April meeting including Amanda Hills Dodson who shared a story very close to her heart about her experience with DHS and now we are looking forward to having HD 13 Representative Neil Hays, Paul Palmer, and County Commissioner Kevin Drake speak at our May 16th county meeting so be watching for those details!

We have many exciting plans coming up including our 2nd annual Patriot Retreat in October when patriots from across the state will travel into the Eufaula area for a wonderful weekend of fellowship, learning, and encouraging one another. We will be advertising details on this event in the coming months, we had a lot of fun last year and expect this year to double in size.

As always we appreciate all visitors at our meetings and hope to be a resource for all McIntosh County residents. If you ever have any questions or wish to be on our list for informational purposes, please text us at 918.617.6124. Hope to see you soon!
