Q and A with Pastor J.

For a change of pace, let me ask you a question.

Who do you say Jesus is? When Peter was asked this question he said this in Mark 8:29, “You are the Messiah.”

When C.S. Lewis approached this question, he responded with his statement that Jesus was either a liar, a lunatic, or Our Lord.

When we consider Jesus remember that we can only accept or reject Him by His claims.

Jesus claimed these things – that He was able to forgive sins, that He had always existed, that He accepted and was worthy of worship, God the Father and Jesus the Son were one.

Jesus did not claim to be a great moral teacher, He claimed to be God.

We must receive or reject Jesus based on His claims. If the claims are true then He is God incarnate. If they are not true then He is a liar or a lunatic.

What do you believe about Jesus? Your decision will have an eternal consequence. I pray that people will recognize that Jesus was not a liar or a lunatic and receive Him as Lord.
