Checotah Lady Wildcats scrimmage Porum

The Checotah Lady Wildcats scrimmaged against the Porum Panthers on Friday. Neither team kept score. Checotah head coach Kory Bible saw some good things come out of the scrimmage.

“I thought we hit the ball well and we made some plays in the outfield. The girls are just now getting to practice with a whole team. We had a couple of athletes that played basketball and they’re just now getting into everything that comes in the softball season,” Checotah head coach Kory Bible said.

The Lady Wildcats return several key players in Sidney Hamilton, Shyanne Madewell, Khyli Miller, Hailey Prince, Kami Hamm, Addie Britt, Shaelynn Casey and Layana Vandiver.

Multiple athletes made plays at the plate and on defense.

The regular season will kick off after spring break for the Lady Wildcats.
