Notification of Johnson O’Malley
Parent Committee Election

All Parents and legal guardians of Indian children in the Eufaula School District are hereby notified of the upcoming election of parent members of the Johnson O’Malley Local Indian Education Committee. The election will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Eufaula School Administration Building located at 1684 JM Bailey Hwy. in Eufaula. Three posts are being voted upon this year: Post #1 now held by Meagan Beaver, Post #2 now held by Leah Adams and Post #3 now held by Makesha Chiles. Candidates and voters must be parents or legal guardians of Native American students now enrolled in Eufaula Schools as well as residents of the Eufaula School District. Candidates may be nominated, or may nominate themselves, by coming to the Eufaula School Administration Building during working hours – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Registration for nominations will close at 4:00 p.m., on the day before the election, Monday, March 4, 2024.

A meeting of the Eufaula School Title VI Indian Education Parent Committee Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at Eufaula Administrative Office, 1684 JM Bailey Hwy., Eufaula OK 74432.  We would love for all parents of Indian children and anyone that would like to show their support to attend.
