Southern Sports Network to cover OKC Bears

The Southern Sports Network will be covering a few teams this spring season for minor league football. One of the teams we will be following throughout the spring season is in Oklahoma City. Filled with riches that illuminate the sky from the golden spoils of a decade worth of winning, sits a team that has tormented cities all around the country. The OKC Bears led by future unanimous 1st ballot Hall of Fame coach Kevin Cox,

See BEARS, page B3 (163-16) has a standard that is shared all the way down to the youngest of bear cubs running around in the stands. This team is no stranger to NFL and D1 talent as many of their players hold high levels of football experience.

The “Gold Standard” is tradition in Oklahoma City as the bear’s players have a history of winning division, league, and national championships spanning from the Midwest to the Gulf and East coast. Community service, educating the youth through football, and winning games are embedded into everybody top to bottom within the organization.

One thing is set in stone and never takes time off with the Bears, and that is, undoubtedly, dominance. Holding a 36-3 record, 4-1 record against their arch rival from Tulsa, three conference championships, three league championships, two bowl game victories, and a national championship with Kevin Cox as HC from 2019-2021.

You can watch the Bears on the free southern sports network app and even download it on Roku to enjoy the game on a larger screen.
