Eufaula competes in McAlester Powerlifting meet

Lynn places First

The Eufaula Ironheads’ powerlifting team competed in their first meet this past week at McAlester. The Ironheads had six athletes placed in the top four of their class with Bryan Lynn placing first in the 168-pound division.

“I’m proud of everyone’s effort today. They did well being this is their first meet. Our guys have been working hard in the weight room and it’s paying off. I’m a happy coach right now. Whenever a kid gives you everything he’s got, that’s all a coach can ask for and this team did very well today” Eufaula head coach Larry Newton said.
