Health and Kinesiology instructor at Northeastern State University from 2006 to 2021. While teaching she became an accomplished author of many books including the Applied Anatomy/Physiology ebook through Top Hat which is used by many universities today.

After leaving the university, Margaret went back to doing the many things that she loved, which included yoga and gardening. While she practiced yoga for many years, she started instructing yoga at her studio, Soul Sister’s Yoga, where she happily connected and instructed with so many people.

Being the consummate student and teacher Margaret, went back to school and proudly obtained her master gardening degree, so that she and Mark could take her garden to “the next level”…which they did. But mostly Margaret loved spending time with her family and friends and loved being outdoors enjoying nature.

Margaret is survived by: her husband, Mark of the home; sons, Braddock and his wife Kailee Dobbs of Eufaula and their daughter Ainslee Rae Dobbs, Mason and his wife Tiffany Dobbs of Eufaula and their soon to be daughter, Clara Ann Dobbs; mother Doris Sanders; father Charles Thomas Sanders; sisters Amy and husband Casey Holmgren and their children Ryan and Hayley, Nora Bunyard and her children Blair and Matthew; sister in law, Marcy Sanders; brothers, Tom and wife Kimberly Sanders and their children Bradley, Korey Anne and Tommy and Gary and wife Kathy Moores; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her brother Phil Sanders, and nephew Rohn Moores.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024 at the Greenwood Cemetery Pavilion with John Salters officiating.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Helms, Zachary Armendariz, Todd Simonetti, Russell Henry, Calahan Henry, and Daniel Salters. Honorary pallbearers will be Braxton Stephens, Jmike Cleland, Colin Walch, Keenan McGrew, Killian McGrew, Ethan White, Micah White and Brady Colbert.

Burial is under the direction of Hunn Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory. Online condolences may be made at www.hbmfuneralhome. com.
