County GOP meeting Feb. 20

It is that time of year again. McIntosh County GOP will be hosting our County Convention on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 6:30 p.m., Federated Church of Checotah located at 515 W. Gentry.

Please attend so you can be a delegate to the state convention and remember we have been placed here for just such a time as this!

Please note, it is the right of any registered Republican in McIntosh county to participate in their party, and any conservative, regardless of political affiliation, is welcome to attend as a guest to observe.

Please bring your voter registration card and all your registered Republican family, neighbors, and friends and let’s get busy restoring the voice and authority of the people.

Our January “Precinct Chairman of the Month” is Kathy Garrison who won a special gift bag for all the effort she has been putting into her precinct, which is Hanna.

Kathy is focusing on educating the residents in her community as well as ensuring everyone is registered to vote.

If any Hanna residents are interested in getting involved, please reach out to Kathy at 918-617-3794, she will be happy to answer your questions or help you get registered to vote. For any other questions please text 918-617-6124.

In other news our OKGOP State Committee body met this past Saturday (Jan. 27) and voted nearly unanimously to censure Republican Senator James Lankford for his bi-partisan border deal which we believe fails miserably at protecting our border.

The action has been published nationwide in a variety of publications. We want you to know that we are working for you, the hardworking residents of McIntosh County, to preserve our liberties.

Please come visit us on Feb. 20. Light refreshments will be available.
