The annual Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma cookie season has begun.

This year’s theme is Unbox the Future.

“Girl Scouts unbox their futures as young female entrepreneurs using the world’s largest entrepreneurial program for girls,” said spokesperson Andrew Jakober.

Jakober said during this highly anticipated time of the year girls “flex their entrepreneurial muscles and acquire important life skills like money management, team building, public speaking and decision making.”

All proceeds from cookie sales stay with local councils and troops to power Girl Scouts’ amazing experiences year-round.

How to Purchase – if you know a Girl Scout, watch for a call, text or email to place an order online via Digital Cookie or reach out to her to place your order.

– beginning Feb. 16, consumers can use the Cookie Finder at gseok. org to purchase cookies to be shipped directly to their homes or locate a booth nearby to purchase cookies in-person from girls at the iconic cookie booths.

Prices are the same this year as last year for such favorites as Thin mints, Samoas, Do-sidos and more.

The spokesperson noted that each cookie sold “unlocks transformative experiences – including service projects, troop travel and summer camps.

The experiences provide invaluable opportunities for personal growth.
