Roger Dale Ross was born on July 31, 1951, in Seminole, Oklahoma to Bobby Joe and Mary Ann (Winn) Ross. He passed away in Stigler, Oklahoma on Dec. 29, 2023 at the age 72.

He is survived by his son, Kevin Herrin-Ross of Shawnee, Okla.; his life partner, Jane Autrey, of the home; his sister, Vickie Caldwell of Ada, Okla.; and several nephews, nieces and other relatives.

Roger loved to hunt and fish and dance.

He owned the Pines Club for many years.

He worked in the pipeline business for many years.

He was an avid team roper and loved team roping with his best friend, Denny Davis.
