Letter to the Editor, I want to take this time to thank our Eufaula City Manager Jeb Jones and Public Works Director Willy Eastteam for their hard work and efforts this past year in making Eufaula a permanent stop for multiple events such as national fishing tournaments and assisting with wake boarding, poker runs and other events that bring money and recognition to our wonderful city.

Jones has been a hands-on manager that has always answered his phone when I called and was willing to listen and pitch in on local improvements to the city. Eufaula is growing and that brings new issues and factors to face.

Jones and Eastteam have welcomed the challenge. Eastteam and the city crew have worked hard in keeping our streets and water works in good shape. As future investors come to Eufaula, they will see the improvements that are being made, it is making future investors decisions easier.

I have lived in Eufaula since 1972 and I feel l speak for most native Eufaulans in saying thank you to Jones and all the City of Eufaula employees for making our community a wonderful place to live and raise their children.
