Santa’s Soldiers: Spreading Christmas Cheer in McIntosh County
By ERIN BRIDGES COURTESY,

The spirit of Christmas shines bright in Mc-Intosh County, thanks to Santa’s Soldiers, a no-profit organization dedicated to ensuring a Merry Christmas for children aged 0-17. With a commitment to bringing holiday joy to over 500 children, Santa’s Soldiers enable parents to place gifts under the tree, a gesture of love and celebration.

In a county where numerous organizations embark on similar festive missions; Santa’s Soldiers stands out by focusing on empowering parents to be the givers of joy. This unique approach has garnered immense community support, with donations pouring in from generous locals.

The success of Santa’s Soldiers wouldn’t be possible without the selfless dedication of volunteers who work tirelessly to bring the magic of Christmas to life.

Their efforts, coupled with the support of community partners like Stites Furniture, Sonic, Lake Eufaula Association, Jason Burns, Shop with a Cop, Kyle Edwards Checotah, Mama Tig’s Wood Fired Pizza, Jeremy Nichols/Nichols Market, the Eufaula Chamber of Commerce, Trish Rhodes, Port City, Faith Church of Checotah, Eufaula Basketball boys and North Fork Baptist Church have been pivotal.

Special gratitude is extended to the abundance of anonymous donors, whose contributions, though silent, resonate deeply in the hearts of the families they touch.

As McIntosh County lights up with festive cheer, the efforts of Santa’s Soldiers and the community’s embrace of the holiday spirit remind us all of the true meaning of Christmas: giving, sharing and celebrating together.

For more information on how to support Santa’s Soldiers or to become a volunteer, please contact Pam Jones or Erin Bridges.
