Kyle Edwards Auto Group of Checotah donated 23 bikes to the McIntosh County Law Enforcement’s Shop With a Cop program last week. General Manager Chris Leonard said this is the first year the company has given bikes to the program and he was happy to make the donation. “It was something we could do, and I know all the bikes will go to kids who really need them. The Sheriff’s Office knows the kids’ situations and knows best who should receive them,” Leonard said. Event organizer Agent Kevin Branscum, with the District Attorney’s Office, said: “We are thankful for the community’s continued support, which makes both of these organizations successful year after year.”
