The November meeting was held on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at the VFW a week early per our Bylaws to allow members to prepare for Thanksgiving.

The Eufaula VFW Axillary served soup and sandwiches, relish tray, fruit and dessert.

The Nominating committee presented the Ballot for the election of the 2024 Board of Directors. The 2024 officers are: Kay Rogers, President, Cheryl Tanner, Vice President, Secretary, Joy Hamilton and Treasurer, Dorothy Kasiner.

The committee chairs are being selected by the President.

Another craft event was planned to make wooden reindeer.

Plans for the Christmas celebration were finalized. The event will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 4p.m. to 8p.m. at The Barn. The meal will be provided by the Eufaula VFW. Bring your spouse, significant other or a guest.

If interested, you may participate in the Secret Santa exchange. All attending need to RSVP to Kay Rogers at 405-2029874 so that adequate food will be available. The January Founders Day celebration/meeting will be held Jan. 23. All members are encouraged to join the F.L.E.A.S. + 2023 Facebook page. We invite all ladies in the lake communities to join our group, meet new friends, play canasta, make crafts, go on excursions or just enjoy a day out with lunch.
