Psalm 32:8 tells us, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” God wants to lead, do you want to follow? Here are some things that can help you recognize and live the will of God for your life.

1) Replace superficial faith with a personal spiritual commitment.

Genuine faith rises out of a deep personal commitment to God. This commitment stretches into your whole life not just on Sunday mornings.

2) Replace unwillingness with a hunger and thirst for righteousness.

Desire God like a starving man desires food. If you seek God with your whole heart you will find Him. We must be willing and allow God to make us into who He wants us to be.

3) Replace preoccupation with singular devotion. Remove distractions that prevent you from growing in your faith. Learn to give time to God that he can teach you.

4) Replace stubbornness with submission.

Stop trying to do it your way. Obey God and live for Him!
