Shymekia Adams is the branch manager of Eufaula Memorial Library, a branch of the Eastern Oklahoma Library System.

We live for experiences, there’s a plethora of experiences waiting for you at Eufaula Memorial Library. On October 14 the library had available solar eclipse glasses for those who wanted to experience viewing the annular solar eclipse. Interested persons just had to come into the library and get a free pair of glasses. On April 8, 2024 there will be a full eclipse (you definitely want to witness this for yourself). Watch for more details about this.

McIntosh County has a book club that is shared between two libraries (Jim Lucas in Checotah and our very own Eufaula Memorial right here in Eufaula). The club meets one per month alternating between the two branches. Members find the club to be a great opportunity to read a good book and share great company. Look in the library’s newsletter for the next upcoming book and meeting date.
