DEATH NOTICES

WARNER – Marla Gaye Salts, 73, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 with her loving family at her side. A celebration of Marla’s life was held Wednesday, August 30 at United Pentecostal Church in Muskogee, OK.

CHECOTAH – Dennis Alvin Passalaqua, 80, former resident of Covelo, CA, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023, in Checotah, OK. A graveside service was held Friday, September 1 at Campbell Ranch Cemetery in Hanna, OK.

EUFAULA – Lois Anita Haltom, 90, of Eufaula, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at the Eastgate Village Nursing Home. A memorial was held Thursday, August 31 at Kelley Memorial Chapel in Eufaula,OK.

MCALESTER – Jeannie Flo Renshaw, 79, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2023. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 8 at 2 p.m. at Kelley Memorial Chapel in Eufaula, OK.

EUFAULA – Donald Eugene Shotwell, 88, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at the Eufaula Manor Nursing Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

CHECOTAH – Karen Renee Crews, 54, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at her home in Checotah, Oklahoma. The family will schedule services at a later date.

EUFAULA – Howard Quinton Morgan, 75, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2032, in Tulsa. Saturday, September 9, 2023. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 9 at 10 a.m. at Kelley Memorial Chapel in Eufaula, OK.
