Texanna Lady Crafters News
By Sue Taylor-Loudermilk Texanna Lady Crafters,

We held our business meeting on Aug. 18, with Karen Franz leading the meeting with our pledge to the flag. Karen always opens our meeting with her sense of humor jokes. Good way to start a meeting with everyone laughing.

Claudia read our minutes and Lisa gave the treasurer’s report. All were approved.

Happy Birthday to our girls. Cathy Collins (9/6) and Sue Taylor (9/27). And let me get Shannon Reynolds in there because it’s close to the end of the month (10/1).

Ronda Adams from Lake Eufaula Association came by and told us about their organization and their new building, which is just down from Love’s Gas Station. Anything you want to know going on in Eufaula or Checotah, just ask them. Great source of information and a lot of good advertising for our local business.

We will have our Bingo Day on Sept. 22. It’s $1 per card. Bring a gift.

Just a reminder that our Fall Bazaar and Bake Sale will be Oct. 13-14. We are still gearing up with lots of new crafts for that.

That being said, we are running a half price sale on lots of items to make way for the new ones, so come by and save some money and if you’re planning for any customized items, please come in and get them ordered early for Christmas, Secret Sisters, Church swap, etc.

Door prizes were presented by Ruby to Shannon, Deena, Diane, Jackie and Linda.

Deena made Bonnie one of her prize-winning birthday cakes, in purple. It was lovely.

OK, just let me remind you again to mark your calendar for SEPTEMBER 13-14 for our Bazaar and Bake Sale.

Did you know we have a Facebook page?

Go by and look at all the new stuff we are making. We are located at 419098 Texanna Road, look for the little green alien in front of our store. Come by and see us. We are open on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Look for the Butterfly board. Stop and take a picture with your family. It’s free.
