Disc Golf League starts

Disc Golf League began August 17 at the Wetlands Disc Golf Course at 5:30 p.m. Play will be each Thursday evening. Disc golfers will play 12 league rounds, one 18-hole round per week.

Complete at least 9 of the 12 league rounds and you will be eligible for prizes. If you cannot play all your rounds on Thursday evenings, other ways will be explained to get your rounds in. Your handicap score will determine your Division.

We will be playing for Bag Tags. You have to be a member of Lake Eufaula Disc Golf Alliance to be in the Bag Tag competition.

Membership costs $25 and you get a free disc. Rules and Bag Tags will be given to every player who joins the LEDGA. League cost $25 one time for all 12 rounds, ($20 for LEDGA members). $5 extra to be in the Ace Pot. We recommend you get the UDisc app on your phone.

Prizes will be awarded a week after the last league night. There will be a time arranged for playoffs if needed in case of ties. Prizes go to 1st and 2nd Place handicap in each Division and 1st Place scratch. There will be a Women’s Division if there are enough women players.

Never played disc golf before? Come on out. We will teach you how to play.

It’s easy and tons of fun. To sign up call Curtis at 918 616-5967 or stop by Gentle Giant Home Solutions at 116 S. Main in Eufaula. Or you can send your name and phone number to Curtis1960@gmail.com.
