Event calendar launches on website
By IJ Calendar,

The Eufaula Indian Journal recently launched a new online calendar where readers can find out what’s going on in their area and beyond. Plus, readers can add their own events, Jeff Mayo, Indian Journal publisher, said.

“We are excited to extend our traditional newspaper calendar to our website,” Mayo said. “After 100 plus years of providing event news, this is a logical step in our digital times.”

Upcoming local events are taken from the website calendar and printed in the newspaper as well, Mayo said.

The calendar defaults to our coverage area, and you can change the dates, as well as distance from our city, to show more events.

Additionally, you can add your own events, complete with description, dates, pictures, and other details. There is an option to promote your event for a fee so that it is displayed prominently with a larger picture at the top of the calendar.

“These calendar improvements are another addition to the products and services offered by our company,” Mayo said. “Our new division, Sasquatch Printing, offers commercial printing for products like vinyl banners, large format printing, envelopes, booklets, programs and business cards, as well as promotional products such as pens, lanyards, cups, hats and cleaning clothes. We can now offer thousands of products to print your logo and other information on.”

Adding these new calendar capabilities, along with the Indian Journal’s sister company Sasquatch Printing, we are your one stop shop for all your event needs, Mayo said.
