All area seniors are invited to a special meeting of the Eufaula Senior Association at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, June 29 at the Eufaula Senior Center on 121 High Street (at the corner of S. 1st Street).

The purpose of the meeting is to elect two representatives and a board of five who – with input from all association members – will plan special meal events open to all area seniors.

These meal events will follow the guidelines of CENA, a program offered through the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. The program provides reimbursement for meals that provide not only nutritional excellence but opportunities for companionship and fellowship, especially needed by the high number of seniors who live alone.
