Eufaula head fast-pitch softball and slowpitch softball coach Ryan Green earned the honors of being named the 2022-23 Eufaula Indian Journal Coach of the Year. Green has built two softball programs that compete at the highest levels. In fast-pitch Eufaula ended the season in regional play with a record of 25-11 and in slow-pitch, Green had the Lady Ironheads ranked 15th with a record of 2011.
“I’m very humbled and honored to receive this award tonight. Our coaching staff is full of hardworking, dedicated men and women who lead our students to success.
“Mainly, the girls I coach deserve all the credit! They put in all the time and effort and have the abilities to put themselves in positions to be successful. Being around great kids is something I never take for granted.”
“Eufaula is a fantastic place to work with great support from all aspects of the school and the community,” Eufaula head coach Ryan Green said.
Green accepted a plaque during the Eufaula Athletic Banquet on Monday night.
