Eufaula football standout Noah Alexander has been making strides at West Point for the Army Black Knights football team. Alexander, who played for the Gold team, broke through the defensive line and ran for a touchdown and had several other long carries against the first string defense during their spring game last week. The Gold team defeated the Black team 31-30.
The Army Black Knights football team, previously known as the Army Cadets, represents the United States Military Academy in college football. Army is a Division 1 Football Bowl Subdivision member of the NCAA. The Black Knights play home games in Michie Stadium with a capacity of 38,000 at West Point, New York.
The Black Knights will kick off their season on Septembei 2 at the University Ot Louisi-
ana at Monroe.
