County disbursements left fire departments concerned

Eleven out of the 13 McIntosh County fire departments were represented in a meeting with the McIntosh County Clerk at the Texanna Fire Department on Thursday, Oct. 13. The McIntosh County Fire Association called the meeting to clarify what appeared to be a $17,000 reduction in sales tax disbursements to each of the county fire departments.
