The Eufaula Lady Ironheads (11-14) saw their six inning rally come up short as they fell to Morris 6-5. Morris scored three runs in the first inning to take a commanding 3-1 lead. The Lady Eagles added three more runs in the fourth to extend their lead 6-1.

The Lady Ironheads did not go away easily as they finally got their bats hot scoring four runs in the sixth inning as Addison McLaughlin connected on a double and Allie Anderson and Jordas McClish each singled.
Liberty Glover took the loss from the pitching circle. She allowed six hits and five runs over three innings, striking out two and walking one. Eufaula racked up 12 hits in the game. McClish went 3-for-3 with a pair of RBIs and Mikah Osborne and Kambry Williams each went 2-for-3 from the plate.
Softball Run Down Eufaula topped Kiefer
Eufaula topped Kiefer 2-1 on Monday. With the game tied 1-1 going into the seventh inning, the Lady Ironheads rallied to add another run as they held on to a 2-1 win as Mikah Osborne singled on a 1-2 count scoring the winning run. Avery Williams earned the win from the pitching circle. She struck out eight in the victory.
Addison McLaughlin, Glover and Osborne each collected one hit to lead the Lady Ironheads.
“This was a big win for us. We never quit. These girls continued to battle and got the win. Sure you want to see more production at the plate but this was a battle of pitchers. I believe they struck out eight of our batters. This win showed just what kind of character this team has. I’m very proud of them,” Eufaula head coach Ryan Green said.
Spiro Bulldogs roared to a 9-2 win on Saturday. Eufaula scored a run in the first two innings until Spiro went on a batting barrage scoring four runs in the third inning and four more in the sixth. Gabrielle Noriega singled for an RBI in the first inning. Eufaula collected eight hits on the day. Jordas McClish went 3-for- 4 to lead Eufaula. Avery Williams took the loss, surrendering four runs on five hits.
